Global Electronic Commerce

Global Electronic Commerce Purchase on Amazon

I have studied market micro-structure since the early 1990s, and was enthused when Netscape started promoting ‘Electronic Commerce’ in the mid-1990s, offering platforms inspired by electronic securities markets (the term and concepts themselves dated from the mid-1980s and the Columbus based Compuserver). I shifted my studies to the consumer product oriented e-commerce platforms. Global Electronic Commerce was a collection of writings I had done, along with my coauthor Ted Clark, concerning our predicted evolution of e-commerce, and the particular competencies, technologies and market structures that were appropriate.
